Playlist #173

Back again for the regularly scheduled weekly playlist. Starting off with a Fashawn cut from last year’s The Gathering tape, which also includes a Murs track that was on one of these playlists when it was out I think.

Had this Fat Joe track on the playlist off of his latest release with DJ Drama. But then the whole project was pulled from Spotify and YouTube and I haven’t bothered to see who got the exclusive (Tidal proly?). Anyway, found a replacement cuz it was released as a single too.

The Jim Jones/Harry Fraud tape remains one of the things that I keep going back to.

Silk Sonic dropped another song a couple weeks ago when the playlists weren’t getting their normal attention, so they’re included here. Shit is fire and and excited for the album, whenever it might drop.

Finally we got the Akeem Ali doing the Keemy Casanova thing. Reminds me of the first 100s tape. Watch the video for the full effect.
