Playlist #190

Back again this week with four tacks for your enjoyment: two newer and two from earlier this year.
First we have one of the newer ones, off the latest R.A.P Ferreira release. Rory drops his poetic lines over a smooth, floating beat produced by vast.ness.
For the “older” column, Mach-Hommy’s tape came out a while ago, and while I don't like it as much as the critics, it is very good. This first track (and the one with a Westside Gunn feature that was on one of these lists before) are the two main standouts.

Admittedly, I haven't listened to the Silk Sonic album as much as I'd like or as much as I though I would. It's excellent and "Fly as Me" lets .Paak flex his MC skills.

Finally we have the other new one - Big Boi and Sleepy Brown finally released their joint project (the first single was on my Best of 2020 list!) and its everything you'd expect from the duo. Killer Mike is on a couple songs, including the energetic "Lower Case (no cap)".
