Playlist #142 & #143

Hey we are back, late like always. Can you imagine if I had an actual firm deadline!?!? Yeesh…
anyways #142 is just christmas songs so enjoy? so late for this lol, maybe next year my guy.

Pretty sure imma keep these off the “Vol” playlist just cuz they’re so out of place. This is my shit, Executive Decision and all that.

On to #143 which leads off with a new Too $hort cut from fthe double album with E40. This one features Guapdad 4K and I gotta say, there’s something to the idea that GD4K is part of the greater $hort tree. Not a direct descendant but sharing a similar energy.
I’m not gonna claim I was a huge fan of DOOM, but but his talent and legacy are undeniable. Rest in Peace to the legend. “ALL CAPS when you spell the man name”
The Eto feature is a standout from the latest Boldy album, with Real Bad Man. I love Boldy’s voice. “I’m a big dangerous, you just a little viscous”.

Wraps up with a traditional one to celebrate 12th Night last week. Was fortunate enough to meet Big Chief Doucette a couple years ago at Kermit’s MIL Lounge. Our interaction was brief, but positive and spontaneous; a memory I’ll hopefully keep forever.
