Playlist #136

Hey its Monday, time for another weekly playlist.

On the most recent Verzuz, Gucci easily took care of Jeezy. His catalogue is so much deeper and he is a whole level above Jeezy as a rapper in general. Not sure why Jeezy thought he had a chance. "No pancake, just a cup of syrup".

Flee Lord dropped this new video from Pray for the Evil 2 from a couple months ago. One of my favorite new artists, has Roc Marci on this track.

Two more from UFO Fev and Bambu from their new releases. This Bambu album is likely to wind up having all the tracks inclued at some point, it is excellent.

Back at the start of 2020 i was saying to myself, "I gotta listen to more Kevin Allen and Brookfield Deuce" and then a couple weeks later Grand Nationxl dropped. Since the first project there has been a follow up and a live release, along with merch and visuals. The group did a virtual show this weekend and i can't wait to see them live for real (Brookfield Deuce was the highlight of the The Opening Rapper Supershow at Bun B's concert last year).

Also on the bill were Kev Choice (who released a quarantine album months ago) and DJ Toure of Hiero fam.
