Playlist #167

Back again with another set of tunes for your weekend. Actually getting this off at the scheduled time this week, whoa!
Planet Asia has another tape out, this one with a TV evangelical soundscape. Bringing dense rhymes and hard beats, the Fresno MC continues to impress.

On that Planet Asia track, he drops a Whispers reference, a group I wasn't familiar with at all. Verdict: dopeness.

Also coming with new dope is Larry June, whose Orange Print tape pleases in all the ways a Larry release usually does; lots of fruit juice and cars.

Haven't traditionally listened to Tyler very much, so I don't have a background to draw from when I say this might be some of the best rapping I've heard him do.

Gucci Mane does his thing over a Sir Mix-A-Lot flip. 1017 upstart Pooh Shiesty also contributes a verse on the bouncy joint

Finally we got underrated funk man CeeLo teaming up with Rare Essence for a GoGo influenced track.

Its the weekend, turn the music UP ⬆
